Introducing "All Pro Pals"!!
We are revamping our traditional All Pro Dad meetings to include our Moms/Ladies. Starting this year, every other month we will host either"All Pro Dad" or "Mighty Moms". We encourage students to either bring their fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, or a positive male role model to All Pro Dad. Likewise, we encourage students to invite their mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, or positive female role models to Mighty Moms. During these meetings we provide a light breakfast and spend time diving into character topics such as problem solving, creativity, integrity, service, and more!! We hope you will join us! As always, our meetings are open to everyone!

This newsletter is coming home today. Look for one each month this year!

Sutton Parents and Guardians,
We are excited about our new apps, and want to make sure you are able to stay connected! We are 3 days in, and we have sent several messages to you from the school or teachers through our new communication app Talking Points. If you are a parent or guardian of a Sutton student, and you are not receiving either texts or notifications from the app, please reach out to us so we can help you troubleshoot. The most likely issue is an incorrect phone number in Infinite Campus. You can check your information from the IC Parent Portal (see images), or you can call the front office. If your phone number is correct, then it may be more complicated. Send an email to the Assistant Principal to help you (email address below) or call the front desk. Thank you!

Sutton Families,
With the beginning of a new school year around the corner, we wanted to make sure that all were aware of the many ways to stay connected with Sutton Elementary. Attached is a flyer identifying the different apps/websites we use and what we use them for. The district sent out a flyer that looks very similar this summer, but this has been adapted to include more Sutton-specific information. Some apps are used for classroom-based information (Infinite Campus, DOJO for example) and the others are for school-wide events (Sutton Website/Calendar, Facebook). Direct messages among the administration, teachers, and parents will go through Talking Points, our new communication app in the district. The flyer explains all of this, and there are QR codes to scan if you would like to go straight to the app store for download. Many of your teachers will have this flyer on Meet the Teacher Night as well to explain and answer your questions, but don't hesitate to call the school with additional questions or concerns. We are looking forward to another great year!
