Due to winter weather causing unsafe road conditions, Owensboro Public Schools will utilize NTI Day #1 on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

With winter weather in the forecast, now is a good time to remind our students and families about communicating school closures and NTI expectations.
Here is how you can find out if the school schedule is impacted by weather or any other reason: https://bit.ly/3MeJhK3
Here you will find the expectations for students and staff in the event the school district chooses to utilize a nontraditional instruction (NTI) day: https://5il.co/3so5i
As a reminder, the district WILL NOT make any announcement unless school is cancelled or we decide on an NTI day. If you don't get a message from the district or see it on the District Facebook page, assume school is in session.
