Operation Community Clean Up 2026 sponsored by the Issac Sterett Adventure Foundation is a great way to spend time
together while making our community a cleaner and safer place!
On Saturday, April 18, the Issac Sterett Adventure Foundation is hosting its annual event to see which team can collect the most trash. Team Sutton will once again be responsible for cleaning up the Lewis Lane area and any other area with trash. Bags, gloves, and pickers will be available as well as a free tshirt for each “cleaner” if you sign up by Tuesday, April 14.
Sutton won last year- let’s do it again by collecting the most trash. No trash is too big or small!
Please use the link below to register your family….use Team Sutton as ID and Ms. Kingsley as the Team Captain. See you Saturday, April 18, at 7AM 1010 Allen Street for the kickoff OR meet at Sutton at 8AM!

Another reminder that open enrollment is live now...
Enrollment for next school year is now open online! Please follow the link below to register your student for next school year. At this time, you do NOT need to come in to the building unless you are registering a Kindergarten student. Parents of incoming Kindergarten students will need to come in to receive a folder of documents to fill out to return to Sutton. Online Registration is important for us to help determine our enrollment for next year, which we use for staffing and resource funding. If you have forgotten your username/password, you can respond to this message or call the front office. Thank you!

Hi Sutton families!
Just a quick reminder about our Paragon fundraiser — there’s no need to turn in order forms before March 23rd unless you are completely finished selling. You still have time to get those sales rolling, so keep sharing with friends and family!
Sales have been going great so far, and we are so grateful for the amazing support from our Sutton community. Keep up the fantastic work — we need you and appreciate you all so much! Thank you for helping make this fundraiser a success! ❤️🖤

REMINDER: Owensboro Public Schools will be IN SESSION tomorrow, Friday, March 13, 2026 as a makeup day for a previous snow day. We look forward to wrapping up the week with everyone tomorrow.

Sutton Elementary School Fundraiser Announcement
Partnering with Paragon School Sales
Dear Sutton Families, Staff, and students.
Sutton Elementary is excited to announce the launch of our upcoming school-wide fundraiser in partnership with Paragon School Sales. Paragon has worked with schools across the country for many years, helping communities raise meaningful funds through high-quality product sales while supporting important projects that directly benefit students.
Through this partnership, Sutton Elementary has the opportunity to raise significant funds that will go directly back into improving our school environment. Our goal is to make this one of our most successful fundraisers yet, and every sale helps move us closer to achieving that goal.
This year, the funds raised will support a major summer improvement project behind Sutton Elementary. The current rock area behind the school has ongoing drainage issues and limits how the space can be used by our students. Our plan is to remove the rock, improve drainage, and transform the area into a safe, functional green space for our children.
This new outdoor space will allow for:
• Garden boxes for hands-on learning opportunities
• Outdoor classroom experiences
• Additional space for free play and movement
• A healthier and more inviting outdoor environment for our students
The more items we sell through our Paragon fundraiser, the more funding we can put toward making this project a reality for our students. Every order — big or small — contributes to creating a better learning environment for the children at Sutton.
We encourage families, staff, and community members to share the fundraiser with friends, relatives, neighbors, and local businesses. Your support truly makes a difference and helps us invest in spaces where our students can learn, explore, and grow.
Thank you for supporting Sutton Elementary and helping us build something special for our kids.
With appreciation,
Sutton Elementary PTO

Parents,
Unfortunately, the temperature outside has not cooperated enough and several of the roads on our bus routes and sidewalks remain unsafe. In order to have a NTI lifeline in the event of another weather event, tomorrow, Fri. Feb 6, 2026, will be called as a traditional snow day.
In order to not have to add on to the end of the school year, the PD Day scheduled for March 13 will now be a normal school day.
With warmer weather expected over the weekend, we are hopeful that we can return on Monday. A decision will be made by 5 p.m. on Sunday and we will communicate that with you.
