The Sutton Penny War to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Cincinnati in loving memory of Ruth Wells was a HUGE SUCCESS! Thank you to our Sutton families and staff for helping us raise a grand total of $4,704.86! In 3rd place was 2nd grade with $789.68, 2nd place was 4th grade with $1,085.77, and 1st place was 5th grade with $1,395.18. 5th grade teachers really enjoyed kissing the pig...well 2 out of the 3. 😁💋🐷
K-5 Sutton students enjoyed inflatables for having good behavior and good grades the 1st 9 weeks of school.
As of Thursday afternoon, 5th grade remains the team to beat, but 4th and 2nd Grades are not going down without a fight! That being said, the piggy won’t get kissed until the very end!! It’s still anyone’s race!

Our first Might Ma is this morning!! We encourage students to invite their mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, or positive female role models to Mighty Ma. During these meetings we provide a light breakfast and spend time diving into character topics such as problem solving, creativity, integrity, service, and more!! We hope you will join us! Even in the rain our student leaders stock our Blessing Box! Monday, 9/30, will finish up kindergarteners' donations to the Blessing Box. If your student isn't in kindergarten, don't let that stop your family from giving what they can!

The annual High Attendance Day for the 2024-25 school year falls on September 12 this year.
We are encouraging all students and families to set a high attendance mark for their school.
Each of the schools within OPS will compete against each other to see who has the highest attendance for that day. The winning schools will be awarded with prizes for both students and staff for their efforts.
Get a good night's sleep and set your alarm to join us tomorrow, September 12 and help us set the high attendance mark for this school year!
