This Friday, September 5, join us for the first of several "Coffee with OPS" events this year! The first one will be held at Kim's Diner from 7:30-8:30 a.m. that morning. Join Superintendent Dr. Wendy Duvall and other District Administrators to talk about our district and ways you can get involved. Coffee is on us, so come join us for a great morning!

We are excited to open registration for our new OBA Elementary Developmental Basketball league, which is for 2nd thru 5th grade elementary school students enrolled at OPS schools.

Registration Window : Opens 9/1 (9 am) & closes on 9/12 (11:59 pm).

If there are multiple students in the same household wanting to register, a registration form must be completed for EACH student.

Registration Fees will be added to each student's "School Cash Online" payment option following the end of the registration window. So there is no payment required upfront.

We are in need of donations for our blessing box out front. If you are interested in donating, you can stop by the school and drop off any canned goods or non-perishable food items. The blessing box serves as a community pantry for those needing meal assistance.

Calling all parents! Join the best PTO around!

Next week, we will have our IN-PERSON registrations here at school. Kindergarten will be Monday, July 14th from 10am to 1pm and again from 4pm to 6pm. 1st grade through 5th grade will be on Tuesday, July 15th from 10am to 1pm and 4pm to 6pm. This is different from our Online Registration which many of you have completed already. However if you still need to complete Online Registration, that can be done at this time as well. We will have tables set up in the cafeteria with different school based documents to fill out that we keep for our records. This includes a table for transportation, after school program, car tags for each family, etc. You can also pay your public school fees at that time as well. We would love for you attend!

Parents of incoming and repeating Kindergarten students please mark your calendar for July 23rd. We will administer the Brigance screening from 8:30AM to 3:00PM at Sutton Elementary. This is a required state entrance assessment and will take approximately 15 minutes. If your child is unable to come on July 23rd, then they will be screened during the first couple weeks of school.
