Please send in donations by Friday. Grades 3-5, brings bags of individually wrapped candy. K-2, bring packaged cake walk items like brownies, cookies, cupcakes, Little Debbie treats, etc.
Remember to wear your hat for Hat Day tomorrow as a reward for our school reaching over 25,000 reading minutes! Also, dress up for our Ag Spirit Days and enjoy a special local treat each day in our cafeteria.
Next week is Ag Week across the state of Kentucky and OPS is getting in on the fun! We have activities planned for all of our students throughout the week and each day has a different theme! We encourage you to participate in our "All in for Ag" Spirit Week next week! We look forward to seeing everyone's creativity throughout the week!
REMINDER: Owensboro Public Schools will not be in session tomorrow, Friday, September 18 for a teacher professional development day. We will see our students back in class on Monday, September 21 as we kick off Ag Week 2026!

Please join us for our Wrestling skills camp. The camp will be held on Saturday, October 3, from 9:00–11:30 AM at the OHS South Gym (gym by Rash Stadium). It is open to boys and girls in grades 3–12, all experience levels are welcome, and the cost is $25 per wrestler.

Breaking the Cycle is offering FREE tutoring every Tuesday from 3:45–5:00 PM at Dugan Best Recreation Center in the kitchen, starting September 15th.

The issue preventing parents of students in both our district and DCPS has been resolved! You should now be able to login to your child's Rooms account through the OPS app with the following steps:
1) Open the OPS App
2) Click on "Rooms" at the bottom of the screen
3) Click on the red "Sign In' Button
4) Enter your PHONE NUMBER with no dashes in the box asking for phone number
5) Enter the verification code sent to your phone
6) Accept the terms of service
This should allow you to login. If it doesn't, you likely aren't listed as one of the two primary guardians of the student. If you are unable to login, please contact rooms@owensboro.kyschools.us and we will work to resolve the issue.
