JAG Ribbon Cutting

On Thursday, September 11 at 10:30 a.m., Owensboro Middle School held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) program.

JAG is a school-based program that helps students build career and college readiness skills and plan for life after graduation.

JAG aims to remove barriers for students and gives them the support they need to succeed after graduation. Once a student graduates, the JAG program continues to provide mentorship and support for 12 months following graduation.

There is already a JAG program at Owensboro High School and adding this program to the middle school will help support students for an even longer time, preparing them for everything they will need to succeed after graduating high school.
