On Friday, September 27, the Owensboro Innovation Academy honored students who have completed at least two courses in the same Career/Tech Ed pathway, have earned industry certifications, and participate in a career technical student organization.
Students who met the requirements received a token representing the pathway in which they have excelled (engineering = hard hat, biomedical = lab coat, computer science = computer tool kit)
Students will have the ability to add certification patches to their tokens as they earn them and they will then be recognized during their senior year for their accomplishments.
