We are excited to welcome the Class of 2030 to the Red Devil family!
Freshman Orientation is for incoming ninth-grade students only. During this interactive experience, students will become familiar with Owensboro High School, meet administrators, counselors, teachers, and student leaders, learn about academics and extracurricular opportunities, and begin building connections before the first day of school.
At the conclusion of Freshman Orientation, incoming freshmen will transition to the practice field where they will join their parents and families for Bash@Rash!

Rash Stadium Practice Field
Beginning at 5:00 pm, all OHS students in grades 9–12 and their families are invited to attend Bash@Rash, our annual back-to-school celebration.
This one-stop event is designed to help families complete important back-to-school tasks while celebrating the start of a new school year.
During Bash@Rash, families can:
Complete Online Registration (OLR) and Educational Benefit Form (Formally the HIF)
Receive transportation information
Pick up student schedules and IDs
Pay school fees
Purchase OHS spirit gear from the Red & Black Shack
Connect with school staff and community partners
Enjoy Kona Ice and a photo booth
Whether you're an incoming freshman family or a returning Red Devil, Bash@Rash is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with our school community, complete back-to-school tasks, and celebrate the beginning of another exciting year at OHS.
