Veterans Day Breakfast

Owensboro High School is proud to honor the men and women who have bravely served our country with a Veterans Day Breakfast on Monday, November 10 at 10:00 a.m. in the OHS Media Center. This annual tradition allows our school community to pause and show appreciation for the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of our nation’s heroes.

The morning will feature a special program led by our OHS Army JROTC, including a tribute ceremony and presentation of colors. We are honored to welcome a special guest speaker who will share reflections on service, patriotism, and what it means to lead with purpose and heart.

Breakfast will be prepared and served by our talented OHS Culinary students, showcasing both their skills and their gratitude for those who have worn the uniform of our armed forces. Veterans and their guests are invited to enjoy this meal as a small token of appreciation from Owensboro High School.

We encourage all OHS students and staff to invite family members and friends who have served in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, or Space Force to join us.

To help us plan, please RSVP by Wednesday, November 5 using the QR code or click link.

This celebration is one of many ways OHS continues to “Lead with Purpose. Serve with Heart. Grow Through Experience.” As we gather on November 10, we look forward to honoring the veterans who embody these very ideals.

We thank all who have served and all who continue to serve for their unwavering dedication to protecting our freedom.
