OPS Families!
The issue preventing parents of students in both our district and DCPS has been resolved! You should now be able to login to your child's Rooms account through the OPS app with the following steps:
1) Open the OPS App
2) Click on "Rooms" at the bottom of the screen
3) Click on the red "Sign In' Button
4) Enter your PHONE NUMBER with no dashes in the box asking for phone number
5) Enter the verification code sent to your phone
6) Accept the terms of service
This should allow you to login. If it doesn't, you likely aren't listed as one of the two primary guardians of the student. If you are unable to login, please contact rooms@owensboro.kyschools.us and we will work to resolve the issue.

OPS Parents: We are aware of the issue preventing guardians from being able to login to the OPS app if they have students enrolled in both our district and DCPS. Our vendor informed us that they have identified the issue that is preventing the login and are actively working on it this evening to get it resolved. As soon as it is, we will be sure to get that information out to you. There is nothing on our end that we can do to solve the issue, but rest assured, we will stay in contact with the vendor until it is resolved. Parking Lots Closed During Dismissal
Student safety is our top priority. Therefore, you should not be turning into the parking lots at dismissal. Join the car rider line as it is the fastest way to pick students up. Cars in the parking lot will be held until all students are safely dismissed. Again, you should not be parking your car and walking up to pick up your student. You must stay in your car and join the car rider line.

Car Riders, Grades 2-5
As you arrive at Foust, the line will form along the curb on the school side of the street. Only cars on this side will be able to proceed through the car rider line. You must stay in your car.

No Parking in Loading Zone
Please do not park near the crosswalk area directly in front of the main entrance after 2:40. This will be part of our loading zone and should be clear at dismissal. If you are parked in this area, we will kindly ask you to move.
Parents Walking to Pick up 2nd-5th Graders
Line up at the bottom of the steps to the right of our main entrance. You must have your car tag in order to pickup a student. Wait patiently to show your car tag to a teacher and your student will be right out.
Kindergarten and First Grade Parent Pickup
Look for the kindergarten or first grade line. Be sure to have your car rider tag in hand. Wait patiently for the teacher to see your tag and your student will be out shortly.
Students interested in Middle School Softball, tryouts are today, August 4th a Shifley Park at 4:30 p.m.!
Tryouts are open to students entering grades 5-8. Hope to see you there!

- 4th/5th grade (fundamentals, fun & competitive games each Saturday throughout the season)

Our annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive is taking place this Friday, July 31 all day long at both Owensboro Walmart locations! Please stop by and see our staff and consider donating to help our students have all of the necessary supplies to be ready to go on the first day of school!
