Tomorrow, September 9th is HIGH ATTENDANCE DAY. We will celebrate with PAJAMA DAY. If you are at school and ON TIME (8:00), you may wear your PAJAMAS to school. Students will also receive a chocolate donut for breakfast.
Lastly, the classes with 100% attendance, will celebrate with a SILENT DISCO!

Who : 2nd/3rd Grade (fundamentals, fun, learning the game & non-competitive games during practice. NO Saturday games)
4th/5th Grade (fundamentals, fun & competitive games each Saturday)
When : Practices start week of 10/5 for both grade divisions & 4th/5th grade games start 10/24, with final day of games on 12/19. (NO games on Thanksgiving weekend!)
Cost : 2nd/3rd Grade = $20 4th/5th Grade = $35 (Registration Fee MUST be paid at time of registration OR will be voided.)

Some children may be coming home a little upset today. It was an emotional day for us Cravens Cubs. Our beloved Hunter Hinton had his last day with us today and everyone was upset saying goodbye this afternoon. We wish him the best!

OPS Families!
The issue preventing parents of students in both our district and DCPS has been resolved! You should now be able to login to your child's Rooms account through the OPS app with the following steps:
1) Open the OPS App
2) Click on "Rooms" at the bottom of the screen
3) Click on the red "Sign In' Button
4) Enter your PHONE NUMBER with no dashes in the box asking for phone number
5) Enter the verification code sent to your phone
6) Accept the terms of service
This should allow you to login. If it doesn't, you likely aren't listed as one of the two primary guardians of the student. If you are unable to login, please contact rooms@owensboro.kyschools.us and we will work to resolve the issue.

OPS Parents: We are aware of the issue preventing guardians from being able to login to the OPS app if they have students enrolled in both our district and DCPS. Our vendor informed us that they have identified the issue that is preventing the login and are actively working on it this evening to get it resolved. As soon as it is, we will be sure to get that information out to you. There is nothing on our end that we can do to solve the issue, but rest assured, we will stay in contact with the vendor until it is resolved. Thank you for your continued patience and support of Owensboro Public Schools!

Our annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive is taking place this Friday, July 31 all day long at both Owensboro Walmart locations!
