The Kentucky Department of Education to announced the first recipients of their annual State Recognition of Fidelity of Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PBIS) for schools successfully implementing PBIS, during the 2023-24 school year.
Based upon their level of implementation and fidelity, as defined in our State Recognition of Fidelity Standards, schools could apply for one of three acknowledgements: Bronze, Silver or Gold.
Of the 221 schools in the state that applied to be recognized this year, Cravens Elementary School has earned a Silver recognition status for the 2023-24 school year. They will receive recognition on the KDE PBIS website as well as a digital emblem they can use in all marketing and promotion materials for their school moving forward.
