Sutton Elementary School hosted their 10th Annual "Friends with Paws" food and supply donation drive benefiting SPARKy.
This is an annual drive to honor the memory of Ms. Melissa Baber, a former teacher aide at Sutton Elementary School who passed away unexpectedly a little more than a decade ago.
The drive ran from March 23-27 and collected items such as pet food, toys, treats, paper towels, trash bags, towels, gloves, pill pockets, peanut butter and more.
The drive collected more than 2,000 items to benefit SPARKy, a local animal rescue nonprofit.
The kindergarten class collected more than 1,300 items and as a reward for their efforts, will have an extra special puppy playtime surprise!
