It’s time for Owensboro High School to elect SBDM parent representatives for the 2025-26 school year. We hope you’ll consider running for our school council or encourage a friend to do so.
In Kentucky, each school has a Site-Based Decision Making (SBDM) council composed of the principal, elected teachers, and elected parents. The council is in charge of making important decisions about how the school operates and supports student achievement.
OHS parents elect the two parent members for the council who will receive training and serve from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026.
Nominations are due on or before Wednesday, May 28 at 4:00pm. If you would like to run for OHS SBDM or you know someone who would be a good candidate, please submit the OHS SDBM 2025-2026 Parent Nomination Form.
