The rich tradition of the arts in Owensboro Public Schools continues to pay dividends for the district’s students in 2023. As students move on beyond graduation, many of them choose arts performance and arts education as their future career.
After working with inspiring and dedicated teachers from kindergarten through their grade 12, they are fully equipped to succeed in the performing arts at the next level. The district looks forward to celebrating their future success and trust they will always remember their time in OPS as the place where their individual talents were seen and nurtured.
Much like athletic scholarships, the opportunity to continue education with all or part of the tuition paid through arts scholarships is life-changing for students. Not only are their efforts appreciated here in Owensboro, but the students leave a lasting legacy within the district’s Fine Arts programs for the next generation of students.
