On the morning of Friday, February 10 at the Kentucky Music Educators Association's Annual Conference, the KMEA named Owensboro Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Matthew Constant the Administrator of the Year.
Dr. Constant was selected as the District 2 Administrator of the Year earlier this school year and was a finalist for this award with the other district administrators across the state.
This is the first time Dr. Constant has won this award and it caps off a big week for OPS at the Conference. The OHS Percussion Ensemble was selected to perform their "Reimagine" show in front of the entire conference and students from several Fine Arts disciplines were selected to perform in All-State groups throughout the week.
