Both the Owensboro High School and the Owensboro Middle School Academic Teams qualified for their respective Regional competitions.
On Saturday, January 13 at Daviess County Middle School, the Owensboro Middle School Academic Team dominated the District Governor's Cup, sweeping seven of the eight categories! This is their 7th straight District Championship and 9th in the last 10 years. All of the following students will advance to the Regional Competition in February:

The Future Problem Solving team placed 1st overall and advanced to regionals! Team members are Kinsley Hayden, Mercy Tanner, Ciel Vinson, Maya Wendt, & Kenessen Schmied.
The Quick Recall Team went undefeated to win the tournament for the 10th straight year! Team members are: Henry Busse, Amelia Calhoun, Madelyn Haysley (captain), Adam Horton, Zed Garcia, Michael Swift, & Laveenya Siddon.
The Owensboro High School Academic Team also had a successful District Competition with a number of students advancing to the Regional Meet, hosted by OHS, on February 17.
