Newton Parrish has a very active and supportive PTO.  The PTO sponsors Open House, Chili Supper / Fall Festival, Music Programs, P. E. Programs, Fall Fundraiser, awards for students, and many other activities.

Remember to save your Box Tops for Education and labels from Campbell’s products.  The school can earn money for redeeming box tops and labels. This is an easy way to raise money to purchase much needed items for our school!

The PTO raised funds, including a grant from the Owensboro Mercy Health System, to build a walking track behind Newton Parrish. They also designed the track and worked with contractors to see the project to completion. Our student and staff "Parrish Pacers" are now able to walk in all kinds of weather.  We logged over 10,000 miles in 2008-2009!  Our neighbors also enjoy using the track to enhance healthy lifestyles.

Volunteers Involved at Parrish (V.I.P.)

This organization is sponsored by PTO. Its members help teachers and the school in many ways. Their efforts include making instructional materials for teachers and providing clerical help. They also volunteer in classrooms, and help with special projects.
