Family Resource CenterThe Kentucky Family Resource Centers were established as a component of the historic Kentucky Education Reform Act (KERA) of 1990. One of the many missions of the school based Centers is to help academically at-risk students succeed in school by helping to minimize or eliminate non-cognitive barriers to learning.
The Newton Parrish Family Resource Center collaborates with community agencies to provide programs, service and referrals to meet the specific needs of our student and family client population. The goal of the Newton Parrish Family Resource Center is to serve the specific needs of the children and their families in this community to enhance student academic success.

Health services and referrals
Programs for new and expectant parents
Parent enrichment classes
Assistance in obtaining employment skills and education for adults
Basic needs assistance and referrals
School supplies
Mental Health services and referrals
Emergency assistance and referrals for basic needs
